Living with ants is as much as a problem as living with killer bees. They are annoying and bothersome and just plain outright nasty. To see their long trail of nonsensical travel is so "Yuk." As the environment goes green and everyone is trying to cut down on electric consumption, plastic water bottles and buying electric cars, does it not make sense to kills ants the "green way."
Sometimes you feel as you just want to leave those little critters alone as they do look helpless, until one of those real nasty red ones comes your way and bites you right on the bottom of your foot. As you limp around for days on end trying to balance, you have an evil thought come into your head about how you can possibly annihilate the whole tribe.
We all can tell you of stories of ants and how they have played an important part in history. The story of King Solomon is unique as he died standing up supported by a wooden cane. He was never known to have died until the ants gnawed away at his cane and he fell. Even ants have a purpose in this life.
As to keep everything sensible and clean, here are some of the best natural remedies.
1. One of the best ways to get rid of ants is to lay talcum powder wherever you see the ants and any place you expect them to show up. It is best to use scented talcum powder. As long as they see the powder, they will disappear. But surely as there will be a sun tomorrow, they will return when they sense there is no talcum powder. So be armed with extra bottles.
2. The second best thing to use is straight vinegar. You can use raw which is better for everything, but I think that ants are not on a health diet. So being raw is more expensive, you may want to go with a generic one. You can use either apple or plain. Just place the vinegar in a squirt bottle and squirt the vinegar everywhere. On the sidewalks, doors and even the kitchen counters.
3. The third way is plain ole cinnamon. Just sprinkle it everywhere. I suggest you put some cinnamon oil in the vinegar bottle. Why not have two shots for the same squirt?
4. The fourth way is black pepper and you can sprinkle it just like the cinnamon, but if you really want to make those pesky creatures angry, mix it with some turmeric powder. Ouch, that burns!
5. There are many suggested sprays from some liquid soap and water to hydrogen peroxide and lemon. They all work, just pick the one that works best for you.
There are more that don't work as well, but why should they be listed here? These are some of the best and they work. As with all pest that invade your home and your lives, doing what is necessary for the safety of your children should be your top priority.

It is the dream destination of many couples, as they think about shopping at Rodeo Drive and going to see the star's name on the sidewalks. Taking a bus tour through the famous neighborhoods of many beautiful star homes or just thinking about how history is being made on this very night.
Hoping to go to a restaurant where Richard Gere ate his lunch or simply bumping into one of many stars out shopping like you. The excitement fills the day with much shopping and eating at some of Hollywood's finest restaurants. No trip

How to Make Health Cat Treats
Anyone who owns a cat will tell you that they are very picky eaters and trying to get them to go raw and be healthy is next to impossible if you have raised them on cooked foods. Baby, my cat is so picky, but I have to treat her special as her mom, Precious was killed earlier this year and she has a serious nervous condition.
Last week a little blind kitten died and she saw this and she went crazy. The only way I can calm her down is with some of her favorite foods. Now baby is not a traditional cat so she likes to be pampered. Here are some of her favorites:
Kitty Tuna Treats:
Take one can of tuna and some chopped zucchini. Mix well add in a egg and mix again. Now add in enough flour to make the dough the right consistency. Make tiny, tiny balls and place on a greased pan and bake in a preheated 375 degree oven until browned. Hmmm, enjoy.
Liver and Kidney Delight:
This is one of baby's favorites, but remember that the liver is the dumping ground of body toxins so do not give this every day.
2 pounds of livers ( I use chicken)
2 pounds of kidneys
1/2 eggplant or 1 cup of cauliflower or any veggie such as zucchini or cabbage.
salt
Place in a large pan and cook until the veggies and meat is done. Remove from the stove and drain the liquid and put the mixture in a food processor and pulse. After you have the mixture you can use it several ways. Place the leftovers in small freezer bags and bring from the freezer as needed.
1. Place a small amount of the mixture on a plate and spread around like hummus.
2. Place a small amount of the mixture on a plate and spread around and top with some milk and mix. Not to much milk as to make it too liquidity.
3. Scramble some eggs and add this mixture.
Ground veal and veggies:
Baby loves this one too. Basically it is the same recipe as above but the meat and veggies are fried in a pan slightly until the meat is browned. Use this alone or with some eggs.
Baby's favorite meatballs:
1/2 pound of ground meat
Shredded carrots, zucchini and potato
Bread crumbs as needed
1 egg
Katsup
Salt
Make the above mixture in meat balls and place them on a greased baking dish and bake in a preheated 375 degree oven until brown and done. If you like you can put some tomato sauce on top of each meatball.

Caring for Multiple Cats
Caring for multiple cats is like caring for twins or triplets for humans. Each one of them has needs and each on them are different. No two cats are ever the same. Each has their own personality, their likes and dislikes and each one has special needs. It will never cease to be easy, but a task many would love to undertake.
If you are a cat lover as many are including the writer of this article, then one cat is never enough. After you start to raise multiple cats in your home, you will find that they fight at meals, they fight over a special toy and they fight over your attention. The best way to accomplish this task is by doing it separately.
Feeding:
So if you are going to feed cat number one dry food, then you better have dry food for the rest. The trick is to place the food in different locations. Place the dry food two feet apart from each cats feeding space. It is normal for all cats to be territorial. Dry food should only be fed once a day, if at all. Dry food tends to lead to urinary tract infections and should be limited.
If you are going to buy a cat toy, buy three and buy three different kinds. If you are going to feed them their lunch, place it in a very large platter which they will all share or separate bowls. Funny how multiple cats share the same water dish though. Also, to keep your cat's urinary tract in good shape, place a 1/4 teaspoon of raw apple vinegar in their water.

Cats are extremely jealous and anytime you spend more time with the one than the other cat, you endanger their feelings. So if you go up to one cat and kiss and caress them, you better do the same for the rest of the group. A cat who is upset will turn his back towards you, to show you their anger.
Cats are very emotional and they can give you a look that will let you know, "You upset me mom." Like changing their way of life, moving to a new home or even changing the kitty litter. Some cats will refuse to use the kitty litter when a lower grade is brought home, than they are use to.

Learning How Pet Awareness Events are Important
Pet awareness should be the topic on everyone's mind today. As helpless creatures are killed weekly for no other crime than over population and not having a home. As the rich become richer, we must help those who cannot be helped. If we cannot a adopt an animal then we can use our money or part of the money and donate to a cause like the International Homeless Animal Candlelight Vigil. It is a cause dear to my heart.

Imagine the man who goes around on the streets, using his net to capture stray animals and using a loop neck line to pull the animals into his truck. If anything I hate more to see, it is the dog kennel trucks roaming the streets looking for "so called," stray animals. I went to a shelter once to get a puppy and the cost was huge for poor person. You had to pay for the shots and to have the animal spayed. I left because I did not have enough money. This should never happen to any animal, or any human as a matter of fact.
When I first came to Jordan, I had no idea that there were organizations here to help the poor. Being I was a cat owner and poor, I was desperate to help my sick animals. So I called the telephone company and they gave me the telephone number for SPANA. SPANA is a non profit organization, from England that helps animals free of charge.

- located in 21 of the poorest countries on earth
- help working animals and those who depend on them
- run an adoption agency for all homeless animals indefinitely. There do not kill the animals.
- operate and do spaying and neutering of all animals, free of charge
So when my cat was dying, they helped me save her. She was in the hospital for over 5 days and because I was a widow and had no income, they took care of her free of charge. To this day, 8 years later, they are still caring for my animals. If there were not places like this, who openly take care of all animals, we would be in serious trouble.
There are so many homeless animals in Jordan and the dogs are wild and many are infected with diseases. The government openly kills them and they are helplessly murdered, just because they are dogs. SPANA offers a home and a shelter for these animals. My home is a shelter for many homeless animals. The yard is huge and there are many trees for climbing and we feed them as we can. A place where many would shut them out. People do not realize that they have feelings and they care.
Puppy mills, pet stores and dog fights have got to be the worse places on this earth. Only through education will and can the public have knowledge of these events. As we watch the horrible pit dog fights, where the animals are literally torn apart, as the crowd cheers on. It is enough to break your heart. I adopted a pet from a pet shop and the cat was infected, so badly that she needed over eighty dollars in fees to recover. Stop the violence, stop the sickness and stop the horrors. There creatures are innocent and they need someone who cares.
Adopt a day and events to help the homeless, such as the International Homeless Animal Candlelight Vigil, highlight the plight of these animals. Events all around the world are held, to raise money to spay and neuter the animals. It is a beautiful ceremony and one everyone should participate in. Lighting a candle on line, broke my heart and brought me to tears.

The Day Precious (my cat) Died
It was around noon on Friday, the 10th of July. It was a good day and a religious day. It was a day when God grants all prayers and it was a day when Precious would leave forever. It was a day that I will never forget and a day that I would always regret.
Precious was my best friend, she was my nurse and my doctor. She was my constant companion and someone I loved so very much. She was the sweetest little cat in the whole world and she is gone. She had been sick for a few months with a bad urinary track infection and I was treating her everyday with apple cider vinegar so she could eat and she was ok. But this is not how she died. She died a martyr, I guess. She died alone.
So on that fateful Friday, she motions she wants to go outside so I go over to her and kiss her on the forehead and pet her very gently and I look in her eyes and tell her, "You want to go outside?" She wags her tail and jumps on the window. So I opened the window and swat her on the butt like I always do. I thought to myself, that she wants to go and play and be happy.
Precious was my constant friend and she has demonstrated over and over again how much she loves me. She has been my nurse when I was sick and she sleeps with me in the winter under the covers. Precious just loves the heater. She is fun, caring and yes she does kiss me gently on the lips when she is trying to butter me up for food. She never ever complains and only on occasion turns her back to me.
I remember one day when she was lost and trying to find her way home. The neighbors call me that they had found her, so I run to get her. When I see her, I call out, "Precious." She sees me and runs to me so very fast. She jumps in my lap and kisses me right on the lips. The whole neighborhood clapped for joy. They had never seen a cat who loved her mom so much. Precious was so happy as her mom had saved her. I call Precious and she walks beside me and the both of us go home. Precious became a rock star after that and everyone would always ask, "Where's Precious?" They are asking the same thing today, where's Precious?
I never imagined a day would come when Precious would not be here. I never imagined how cruel people can be but indeed they are very cruel. For indeed she was murdered and so were many other cats on that day.
I called Precious and called her but she did not come home. I searched and searched for her but Precious did not come home. I finally realized that something had happened to her and
I became incredibly sad and incredibly worried. I went to the landlord and told her, someone is trying to kill all of the animals. I felt my inner child screaming this out. She laughed at me and I locked Baby my other cat in the house that night.
The next day Noor and Muhanin were missing and so was Panchie. I had locked baby just in the nick of time but where was Sweetie? Sweetie and Panchie were stray cats that just sat in the yard and we feed from time to time and Noor and Muhanin belonged to the landlord. Someone was killing our entire family. Someone was committing genocide of our most cherished love ones. It was just too horrible to even think about. I was just too horrible to imagine.
The next day I grabbed Sweetie and placed her for adoption in the local shelter. They do not put them asleep here they keep them forever till they get adopted. They have tons of food and water and they are very well taken care of, I hope. She did not even say goodbye to me but gently goes to the other cats and then runs when she sees the food. She was happy, but I was not. So besides the pain of losing our family cats now I had to give away a friend who depended on us all.
As I return to the home, I am in shock. I had to do more and more to find Precious. I looked everyday and walked everywhere and I prayed. Yes, I prayed so much and I cried even more. I implored my lord for mercy and I asked him to rectify the affair. But to my dismay and my horror, she never returned.
I have tried to cope with the loss, but I cannot. I have tried to handle the pain, but I cannot. I want to scream and scream that this is not fair but the words won't come. My soul aches and I can see Angels everywhere and I can see emptiness everywhere. When I look to see her place where she slept, I see emptiness. I see that she was never there and I see yes she has gone on. I want her back, I want her to be in her place and yes I want the people to pay who did this.
My sorrow is so much and my pain is so deep and I am nothing now without her. Deaths come to many as it did to my husband 7 years ago and yes we eventually do accept it was for the best but for now, it is pain.
The hardest part is not knowing how she died and knowing if she suffered. I so want to bury her body and wrap her in a cloth so beautiful. I so want to dig her grave and lie her in it gently, not even wanting to think of her being thrown in some trash dumpster somewhere. I want and hope she did not suffer much and that indeed she was not afraid but that it happened very quickly. I do know that she is better off now as I know Allah is merciful. I know he is all forgiving and I know that his bounty is much more than on earth. So as I part with her on this day, try to think of her as I do with the Angels.

There are many organizations that support minorities, from small yahoo groups to large hospitals. It isn't a matter of finding minority care, it is the fact of finding the best groups,depending on what type of care you have elected to do. 2. Oregano oil and olive oil. Mix 4 drops of oregano oil, with 2 teaspoons of cold pressed olive oil. Brush the nails lightly, with this mixture and allow to air dry.
3. Hydrogen peroxide. Brush the nails, with hydrogen peroxide and then pour some alcohol over the nails and let air dry.
4. White Iodine. Just paint the iodine on the toe nail. It works wonders. Also, you can put vinegar on the nails, in the morning and then iodine in the evening, as an alternative treatment.
5. Lemon grass essential oils. Brush on the nail. Tea Tree oil, can be added and then brushed on the nail.
6. Listerine. Soak a cotton ball in Listerine and rub on the nails. Do this 5 times a day. The nail fungus will leave in 2-3 days.
7. Honey. A great remedy that works. Also, you can alternate garlic one day and honey the next day. Both remedies work.
8. Tea tree oil and lavender oil. Brush on the nail 2-3 times a day.

5. Lemon grass essential oils. Brush on the nail. Tea Tree oil, can be added and then brushed on the nail.
6. Listerine. Soak a cotton ball in Listerine and rub on the nails. Do this 5 times a day. The nail fungus will leave in 2-3 days.
7. Honey. A great remedy that works. Also, you can alternate garlic one day and honey the next day. Both remedies work.
8. Tea tree oil and lavender oil. Brush on the nail 2-3 times a day.
Treatment for people with toe nail fungus:
- Dry your feet , well after going to local pools.
- Use a hair dryer to keep your nail dried at all times
- No not manicure the nails or use nail polish.
- Microwave or heat your shoes and socks.
- Do not share towels in your home or out

A Wonderful Snow Ice Cream Recipe
I was raised in the state of Kentucky and there in the winter is snows sometimes six feet deep. It is very cold and it is very fun. Snow ice cream is a tradition there. My mom taught me early on how to make snow ice cream as it is a very simple family tradition.
Kentucky is not like most of the states. It is a very laid back state with simple country folks. We enjoy catfish and fries and we love the snow. My dad bought me a red sled when I was very small. To me it was this huge sled, but later on in years as I looked at it again I could see that it was not huge at all.
So the beginning of the snow fall would come and mom would run to get the fresh snow before it had hardened and before yes my dog Muffy went to the bathroom all over it also. Dad would take me and sisters for a ride on my bright red sled while mom was busy preparing our winter snack. This is what she did:
How to make snow ice cream the simple method:
1. When it first snows before it sets or freezes up, go get a huge bowl. In this bowl place six to eight cups of fresh snow.
2. Add in 1 cup of regular sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
3. Mix this well so the sugar starts to melt. Add in enough milk to make the ice cream the right consistency.
Divide the ice cream in bowls and serve. I guess there are some exotic ways to make snow ice cream, but this is the way my mom made it and she of course was very smart and knew the best way. I wonder if Kentucky ice cream taste better than Canada snow ice cream?

Low-Fat Yogurt-Granola Parfait Recipes

If you are looking for a healthy, nutritional and delicious snack, then I have the one for you. It is packed full of flavor, vitamins and then topped with some ground flax seeds. This recipe is for one parfait but can be easily double or tripled.
The flax seeds must be ground fresh, as they do go rancid after ten minutes so do not make those a head of time. You can also change the fruits around to suit your needs. I love also grapes, cherries and banana combinations. The topping of flax seeds, is so you get extra nutrition. Some love to make a strawberry syrup to put the fruits in but it is not necessary.
It could not be easier than that and your 5 year old could do this.
Take one parfait glass and add the following in layers:
- A scoop of low fat yogurt
- 1 spoon of mixed fruits such as (bananas, strawberries and mango)
- Then top with some homemade granola ( recipe at the bottom)
- Sprinkle some freshly ground flax seed on the granola
Do this same procedure for three layers. On the last spoon of flax seeds, top with a whole strawberry.
Recipe for granola:
Take 4 cups of granola
1/4 cup of honey

When you are hungry and want a quick meal fast, chicken or shrimp stir-fry is one of the best. With a few ingredients, some chicken that has been cooked and some delicious basmatti rice, the dish is complete. For those on a diet, you can cut out the oils and add some non-stick spray and cook the veggies in chicken stock. A good trick from Weight Watchers diets.
Going to a Japanese restaurant will make anyone want to learn how to stir fry Chicken and rice. It is so much fun watching the cook, throw the meat up in the air and then chopping it very fast. He pulls his knife from behind his back and cuts,cuts and cuts and then looks at you and smiles with a smirk, and says, "Now, how would you like my job? We all burst out laughing and say nothing, but shake our heads nervously. One such night, I asked for his recipe and here is what he said.
Cut the chicken into small fillets. And place them on a plate ready to saute. Heat the pan to high and add some oil. Drop in the fillets and salt and pepper them. Stir them in the hot oil till they are browned. Add a bit of butter and then the soy sauce. Cook until 3/4 of the way done. Let them cool and then cut into thin strips.
First boil the basmatti rice in water with a dash or salt. When the rise is 3/4 of the way done, remove it from the heat and drain.
In a very hot pan or wok add in some butter and olive oil. The mix will allow the butter to cook to a high temperature without burning. Add in the fresh mixed vegetables.
Ingredients:
- Peas
- Green onions, chopped fine
- Carrots, chopped very small
- Potatoes cubed very fine
- 1 green pepper, chopped small
Stir fry the vegetables, moving them quickly as not to burn. After the vegetables are nice and soft, add in the chicken pieces, stirring again.
Now is the time to add the basmatti rice to the mixture. Evenly coat the mixture with all the vegetables, continue to cook for 5 minutes. At this point add in some soy sauce to taste. Some people like a lot of soy sauce and others don't. Add some salt and pepper to season the whole dish with. At this point add in some fresh bean sprouts.
Place them in the end as not to cook them too much and leave them more with a crunch. As the dish is nearing completion, make a hole in the center of the dish and add one tablespoon of butter, then cook one egg to a light scramble. Mix the egg throughout the dish and add a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
Now the dish is ready to serve. Place the stir fry on a large platter and cut a cucumber in diagonal slices. Place the cucumber all around the dish. Sprinkle the dish with some chopped coriander and a final spraying of soy sauce.. This is the absolute best chicken stir fry in the country. You will not be able to beat this recipe for sure and your guests will be asking for more.

- Green onions, chopped fine
- Carrots, chopped very small
- Potatoes cubed very fine
- 1 green pepper, chopped small
Stir fry the vegetables, moving them quickly as not to burn. After the vegetables are nice and soft, add in the chicken pieces, stirring again.
Now is the time to add the basmatti rice to the mixture. Evenly coat the mixture with all the vegetables, continue to cook for 5 minutes. At this point add in some soy sauce to taste. Some people like a lot of soy sauce and others don't. Add some salt and pepper to season the whole dish with. At this point add in some fresh bean sprouts.
Place them in the end as not to cook them too much and leave them more with a crunch. As the dish is nearing completion, make a hole in the center of the dish and add one tablespoon of butter, then cook one egg to a light scramble. Mix the egg throughout the dish and add a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
Now the dish is ready to serve. Place the stir fry on a large platter and cut a cucumber in diagonal slices. Place the cucumber all around the dish. Sprinkle the dish with some chopped coriander and a final spraying of soy sauce.. This is the absolute best chicken stir fry in the country. You will not be able to beat this recipe for sure and your guests will be asking for more.

Hummus (or chickpea dip) is so simple to make and most vegans have this as a regular side dish. It is an Arab dish with many recipes from Lebanon and Syria, but my recipe is the easiest and most delicious and lasts for several days in the refrigerator. Simple, easy and economical for sure.
Some mix in parsley with the hummus when it is being prepared, but the parsley wilts in the hummus if you keep it for days. Add the parsley on top of the hummus after it is prepared for a fresher look and taste.

A spinach and mushroom omelet is both healthy and delicious. If you have never had fresh mushrooms you are in for a treat. They are vegetarians replacement for meat. So consider the mushroom your "steak" and you now have a spinach and steak omelet. Button mushrooms are the cheapest and easiest to find. Make sure you do not wash the mushrooms, but merely wipe them with a damp cloth.
There is nothing more delicious than to have a spinach and mushroom omelet for breakfast or even lunch. Especially when you add in the cheese and tomatoes for that extra tasty flavor. The best time to eat spinach is in the summer time, picked straight from the garden. It makes you think of Jaime Oliver and his cooking show. Enjoy this omelet and make two as you will definitely want more.
Note: If you are heart conscious, you can reduce the butter and oil and use a non-stick spray in the skillet. You can use 2 whole eggs and 2 egg whites instead of the 4 whole eggs.

- 4 organic free range eggs
- 1/2 cup of thinly sliced button mushrooms
- 1 cup of spinach
- 1/2 cup of chopped baby tomatoes
- 2 reen onions chopped finely

- 2 tablespoons of milk
- Salt and pepper to season
- 1 tablespoon ghee or butter or 2 teaspoons of virgin olive oil
Method of Preparation:
Preheat a oven to 450 degrees.

- 2. Heat a skillet with 1 tablespoon of butter and 2 teaspoons of virgin olive oil.
- 3. When the fats have melted, add the mushrooms and onions and saute until the mushrooms are lightly brown and soft.
- 4. Remove the mushrooms and the onions. In the same saucepan place the spinach and wilt the spinach and when almost done add the tomatoes. Cook a few minutes more. Remove from the pan.
- 5. In a separate bowl, place the eggs, milk and salt and pepper. Beat the eggs with a wish until light and fluffy.
- 6. Check the skillet to see if it has enough oil to keep the eggs from sticking. If it does not have enough, add enough oil and brush over the skillet. Add in the egg mixture and tilt the skillet to evenly spread the mixture over the entire pan.
- 7. Drop the mushrooms and onions sparingly around the pan. Now add in the spinach and tomato mixture around the mushrooms.
- 8. Cook the omelet over low to medium heat and with a spatula keep checking the underneath of the omelet. When it is set and slightly brown, sprinkle the cheese on top.
- 9. Place the whole skillet under the broiler for around 5 minutes, until the eggs are cooked on top and the cheese is bubbly.
Remove from the oven and slide onto a plate and serve with some arugula leaves and a few slices of melon. If you like you can add some extra seasoning on top also.

Being Diagnosed With MS and How I Recovered
Multiple Sclerosis is a debilitating and crippling disease and it is an auto immune disease. It robs you of life and it steals your very breath. It can cripple you to the point of not being in a wheel chair, but to the point of not knowing where you are. It robs you of your life, your mobility and it breaks many families up. It is a disease of the central nervous center and it stops the brain from being able to communicate with the spinal cord. Its many symptoms includes:
- Blurred vision, flashing lights
- muscle weakness
- slurred speech
- Partial numbness, face pain
- Loss of coordination
- shaking or tremors
- bowel problems
- memory problems
These are not all but the main ones. It is scary and it is frightening and it is alarming. I healed myself naturally without any medicine of any kind. I was saved by my lord, who took mercy on me so I could tell others. He blessed me and he will bless you too.
25 years ago I was diagnosed with Epstein Barr Virus, an incurable disease. It was very life threatening at the time as you become severely depressed and suicidal tendencies come to your mind. You are so intensely fatigued, that you cannot get out of bed and the nausea is the worse. But thanks to God, he helped me and I survived. I felt like I was a success story indeed.
So one day when watching TV, I saw a doctor saying anyone with EBV (Epstein Barr Virus) for more than 15 years had a huge chance of getting both cancer and MS, I was shocked. I started to do research and sure enough he was one hundred percent correct. From that point on I went on a drastic diet and lost 21 kilos. I was determined to save my life as everyone on my father's side died of cancer.
I reduced all my BMI to the healthy range. I reduced all my blood test, cholesterol, triglycerides, etc. My blood pressure was low and so was my sugar count. I had a perfect heart and blue eyes, so I was in great shape.
I did everything right. I did juices and follow the Budwig plan of yogurt and flax seeds also and cut out all the wrong fats and the ultimate ice cream. Then one day I got diagnosed with MS. Well how was that possible, I was in great health? It takes more than just diet, it takes a whole lot more. So, I spent the next few weeks trying to find a cure for MS. For Allah sends a cure with every disease. But in order to find the cure you have to have faith that Allah or God will give you the cure. So I could talk all night about the many diets I tried and the many supplements I experimented with but I think the best way is to tell you exactly what worked.
I tried to think tonight about why I am saved and it all comes back to my faith. Allah saved me for a special reason, I am not for sure why but he surely did and I am so thankful. I use to pray every night for help. I asked Allah over and over again to cure me and he did.
My story is very sad and for sure I do not want pity. I am just telling you what happened. I live alone in Jordan so when I got sick no one was here to help me. I did not want any pity from anyone, I wanted to be well. So I had to quit working and just get well. Then I got diagnosed with early onset dementia. I thought, what? You got to be kidding. I am not that old. The doc tells me that it was either Parkinson or Alzheimer's. I said wait, I have MS and Parkinson or Alzheimer's. This has to be wrong.
They did a cat scan and wallah, I was indeed sick. Okay, now I had to really make war. If any of you are going through what I went through, then know that it is war, not a play game. You have to be dead serious about this and attack this like you would any enemy.
So no matter what I tried I always came back to Budwig. I left it a couple of times but my body felt bad. As you read a lot of diets about giving up dairy. I can't live without Budwig.
These are the things that worked for me. And as you will see they are very inexpensive things.
1. Budwig kousimine diet. Which is 1/2 cup of drained yogurt, juice of 1/2 lemon, 2 T. of raisin granola, 1.5 T. of ground flax seeds, 1/4 t. of cayenne, 1/2 t. of pollen, 1 crushed banana, 1 additional fruit. This once a day.
2. Budwig regular with 1/4 cup of drained yogurt with 1.5 T. of flax seed, 1/4 t. cayenne. This once a day.
3. Lots of juice, at least one large veggie juice and 1 large fruit juice per day
4. One cooked meal a day only. Like a large salad topped with beans.
5. No meats of any kind and no fish.
6. Turkey added after one month.
7. I made my own bread with baking powder, yogurt and olive oil and a mixture of grains. 1/2 whole wheat and 1/2 brown flour.
8. I limit the cheese to goat cheese and Parmesan cheese only.
9. I did have eggs sparingly.
10. lots of soups
11. Almond milk exchanged for milk
12. I loved green smoothies and top them with flax seed.
Supplements.
I cannot live without lecithin. It is a real must
1 take 1 capsule of kelp, 2 capsules of grape seeds, 2 capsule of turmeric, 2 capsules of ginger, 1 capsule of fennel, 3 capsules of olive leaf, 2000 mg of Vitamin C, Merck B complex. I take 2 b12 injections a month. (as my b12 is very high from the flax), ginkgo I used but found it did not help that much.
When my brain was real bad I used this elixir.
1/2 cup of yogurt,
1/2 cup of water
1 T. of olive oil
2 figs
1 sprig of rosemary. Put all in cup in refrigerator and the next day put in blender and mix well and drink.
Mentally:
I got rid of toxic relationships
I tolerated the less fortunate
I did as many good deeds as I could
I prayed more and read more of my Quran.
I did EFT (Emotional freedom technique) but not as much as I should.
I learned to do what pleases me and to always think good of others
I apologized even when I was not at fault just to feel good at the end of the day.
At times I was explosive and it helped me. We need to let off steam and I found quickly who was my friend and who was not. My friends understood I was sick and it was part of the healing so they were patient. If someone is your friend they are with you thick and thin. Anyone who abandons you is not your friend and I don't need them in my life. It took me a long time to realize that one.
I invested in a real good juicer, blender and I got rid of all gas appliances and heating out of my house. Yes, that is right I live in an all electric home. It is expensive but it is mandatory for someone who wants to get well. I also got rid of all aluminum cooking ware. I also do not eat anything in a can. I make everything fresh. Everything is homemade or I don't eat it. It is a rough lifestyle and expensive at times but I am a survivor.
I did many herbal parasite cleansing and the best is the pumpkin cleanse. I juiced an entire pumpkin and drank the juice in a small amount of time. Some called it sadistic but it works. I took many other remedies including pineapple and papaya and found the pumpkin the best.
I cleaned my colon 3 times, from using Dr. Schultz to the 3 day watermelon cleanse. I did a 4 day pumpkin and pineapple cleanse but it was not as successful as the
watermelon cleans. I did 3 liver cleanses too. So you can see this protocol included many facets. Your body cannot be clean unless you clean the colon and a sure fire way to keep the colon clean is with juices. Meats and rices plug up your colon with toxic materials and you will remain sick.
I have to admit maybe I was blessed more than most and maybe Allah sent a cure to me because I am alone and worked so hard to be well. Not everyone agrees, but Allah knew my heart was there. I was so trying hard to please God, so he would want to please me and he did. So where is my cure, in Allah's hands. I give all credit to him and I want to thank all those who helped me along the way. I will never forget the kindness of many and the many letters I received from many well wishers. It meant so much to me and kept me strong. Is my battle over, no way. I must keep fighting my whole life to make sure I stay well but I am up for the battle.
What has changed with me? First I can climb mountains now. Before I was so out of breath and could not climb a simple hill and now I can walk all the way up without stopping. I am more calm, well most days. I take things in better strive, My complexion is in good shape, My bones are stronger than ever, I don't have any pains and I feel happy. It is amazing what happiness can do for you. I spend my nights writing to who I can trying to help who I can. In other words pay it forward. I am not sure if I covered everything but I think so.
The simple approach is better. You don't need to spend an arm and a leg on the protocol but you do have to have your mind in the right place. You have to believe with all of your heart and to have faith. You have to keep your environment clean, as your body and you have to get rid of all gas out of your home. Okay, maybe that is the expensive part. I sold all of mine and I used the money to replace my heaters with. I have investigated about the cooking part and the over all consensus is number one, people with brain disorders should not be cooking anyway so I opted to buy a two place hot plate and I am happy with that. I have to admit maybe I was blessed more than most and maybe Allah sent a cure to me because I am alone and worked so hard to be well. Not everyone agrees, but Allah knew my heart was there.
